Renault has revealed an updated version of the Triber, set to launch soon in South Africa. The seven-seater MPV now sports a fresh design inspired by the Captur, including a redesigned grille, new LED headlights, and updated rear lights with a bold new badge.

Inside, the Triber gains a revised dashboard with an eight-inch infotainment screen, ambient lighting, and improved materials. Safety and convenience features like six airbags, cruise control, front parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera system come standard on higher trims.

The facelifted model retains the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 52kW, paired with a five-speed manual or automated manual transmission. The turbocharged variant seen in other markets is still not available.

Priced from roughly R128,000 to R186,000 in India, the new Triber is expected to arrive in South Africa this year, likely carrying a modest price increase over the current range of about R229,000 to R265,000.
