MASERU– The 2025 Digital Innovators Summit (DIS) will be held on Thursday, July 24, at the American Corner inside the State Library in Maseru, bringing together technology experts, business leaders and policy makers to explore the rise of artificial intelligence in Southern Africa.
The one-day summit runs from 8:00am to 8:00pm under the theme “Empowering Truth in the Age of AI.”
British High Commissioner to Lesotho Harry MacDonald will serve as guest of honour. The summit will feature keynote remarks from Prof. Mosotho George of the National University of Lesotho and Kanono Ramashamole from the Ministry of Communications.

The programme includes panel discussions and workshops on AI trends, policy frameworks and tech education. Speakers include former Trade Minister and international diplomat Joshua Setipa, cybersecurity analyst Zanele Selebalo, T-Connect CEO Adv. Phelane Phomane, IT Manager at LNIG Hollard Phello Ralibakha, FNB Lesotho Head of Digital Banking Sam Mohatle, and Mathbridge Academy founder Lerato Molisana.
Networking sessions and live demonstrations are scheduled throughout the day, with the event expected to attract participants from across Lesotho and neighbouring countries.
