MBABANE – Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini this week met with the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, led by Chairperson Professor Remy Ngoy Lumbu, during a session held at the Private and Cabinet Office.
The discussions focused on Eswatini’s progress in implementing the African Charter, the Maputo Protocol, and other human rights commitments. The Prime Minister shared updates on government efforts to strengthen laws, build institutional capacity, and raise public awareness on rights issues.
The meeting also discussed areas where Eswatini is still facing challenges and explored ways to improve cooperation on regional human rights matters.
