MANZINI – The Mavuso Trade Centre was a hub of activity yesterday as persons with disabilities (PWDs) attended the Eswatini Career Expo 2025, which focused on providing job market access and entrepreneurship support.
The event was organised by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office (DPMO) under the theme “Your Career, Your Choice!” and ran from 10 AM to 1 PM, attracting participants from across the country.
PWDs took part in government-led sessions on disability mainstreaming policies, career guidance, and direct engagement with employers offering inclusive opportunities. There were also CV writing workshops to help participants prepare stronger job applications and mindset sessions designed to boost self-confidence.
Business development programmes were showcased, with institutions and private companies presenting available training options, resources, and demonstrations.
More than a dozen partners, including universities, companies, and community groups, joined the expo, making it accessible for all with free entry.
