MANZINI – Tributes poured in for the late Prince Mabandla, Eswatini’s third Prime Minister, during his State Memorial Service held at Zakhele Free Evangelical Assemblies Church on Friday.
Their Majesties, government officials, family members and close friends gathered to remember a man many described as humble, God-fearing, and incorruptible.
Family members spoke of a devoted husband and father, describing Prince Mabandla as a pillar of strength to Inkhosikati LaGinindza and a guiding figure to both his children and those he helped raise. His grandchildren shared heartfelt memories of a grandfather who led by example and taught them about faith and love through his actions.
Government representatives remembered the late statesman as a dedicated servant who carried out his duties with diligence and integrity. Speakers urged the nation to emulate the values he stood for—honesty, respect, and a strong moral compass.
Prince Mabandla will be laid to rest today at Ntfonjeni in the Hhohho Region, following a night vigil at KaNdwandwe Umphakatsi.
