MBABANE – Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini yesterday hosted the French Ambassador to Eswatini and Mozambique, Yann Pradeau, at the Private and Cabinet Office in Mbabane, where the two officials reviewed the progress of France-Eswatini cooperation and explored opportunities for further collaboration.
Ambassador Pradeau was accompanied by Clemence Bessiere, Head of Cooperation and Cultural Affairs, during the courtesy visit which marked yet another chapter in a partnership that has spanned more than two decades.
The French delegation acknowledged the Kingdom’s efforts in sustaining joint projects across key sectors including commerce, health, tourism, and education. Special mention was made of education-related programmes, where scholarships provided by France have enabled a number of emaSwati to further their studies abroad.
Discussions also touched on broadening the scope of bilateral engagement, with both parties expressing interest in identifying additional areas of mutual interest to deepen ties between the two countries.
