LUANDA – TAAG Angola Airlines has confirmed it will launch direct passenger flights between Luanda and Nairobi from 1 September 2025, with services scheduled three times a week.
The route introduces a new air link between Southern and Eastern Africa, with Nairobi serving as a key regional hub that connects passengers to destinations across Africa, Asia, and Europe. TAAG’s entry into the Kenyan market is expected to boost business travel, tourism, and diplomatic exchanges between the two countries.
The airline said tickets are already on sale via its official platforms. The Luanda–Nairobi route is part of TAAG’s broader network expansion aimed at improving intra-African connectivity and positioning itself as a bridge between Portuguese-speaking countries and the rest of the continent.
Travellers from Eswatini looking to connect through Luanda to Eastern Africa or onward to international destinations may benefit from the additional regional flight options this route presents.
