Manzini – Denver Sundowns, a club competing in the National First Division (NFD), has officially changed its name to Manzini Sundowns Football Club. The decision follows internal restructuring that includes the appointment of Datamatics Eswatini’s Director, Mr Sibusiso Baartjies, as Chief Executive Officer.

The club stated the name change reflects its connection to the city of Manzini, where it is based, and signals a new chapter aimed at strengthening its identity and ambitions on and off the pitch.

The management overhaul has introduced a full executive and technical team structure:

  • Governor/Chairman: Mr Henry Tum du Pont
  • Chief Executive Officer: Mr Sibusiso Baartjies
  • General Manager: Mr Collin Bennet
  • Assistant General Manager: Mr Irvin Munroe
  • Logistics Manager: Mr Thanda Hadzebe
  • Assistant Logistics Manager: Mr Mandela Sihlongonyane
  • Marketing Manager: Mr Terrence Jacobs
  • Assistant Marketing Manager: Mr Dennis Terblanche
  • Office Clerk/Secretary: Mr Xolani Mthunzi
  • Public Relations Officer (PRO): Miss Sithembile Dlamini
  • Technical Director: Mr Lovington Mkhumane
  • Head of Development: Mr Reagan Steenkamp
  • Member: Mr Nicholas Dlamini
  • Chief Scout: Mr Smally Shabalala

Manzini Sundowns are preparing for the 2025/2026 football season with the goal of finishing top of the NFD table and securing a return to the Premier League, after being relegated at the close of the 2023/2024 campaign.
