Manzini – Mbabane Swallows have secured the services of Mozambican businessman Niczar Amade as their new director on a three-year contract, starting 4 July 2025. The move comes as the club seeks to stabilise after a financially difficult 2024/25 season.
Amade has pledged E3 million per season to support the team, which has struggled with delayed player payments and the departure of key talent. Last season saw the loss of captain Kwakhe Thwala and striker Ayanda Gadlela to reigning champions Nsingizini Hotspurs, while Leon Manyisa and Siphosethu Mabelesa moved to Young Buffaloes.
The club failed to secure any silverware last season, a result seen as unacceptable by the Swallows faithful. Amade hinted at appointing an international head coach and signing high-calibre players as part of his efforts to restore the club’s standing in local football.
