Mbali Nosizo Dlamini, a student at the University of Eswatini (UNESWA), has been selected for the prestigious Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders and is currently in the United States.
Dlamini, who is pursuing a degree in Political Science and Public Administration, previously served as the CEO of Enactus UNESWA Kwaluseni Campus for two years, a role that shaped her passion for leadership and civic engagement.
She is based at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she is part of the Leadership in Civic Engagement track. Speaking on her placement, Dlamini said the programme offers a chance to deepen her understanding of how to mobilize people and policies to drive meaningful change in Eswatini and beyond.
Her journey through Enactus, a platform that connects students with real-world entrepreneurship and leadership opportunities, laid the foundation for her current path. Through the organisation, she led campus initiatives that promoted innovation and social impact.
