SIDVOKODVO – Tickets for the 2025 Swazi Rally are now available online via Howler, with prices set at E300. The much-anticipated three-day motorbike festival is scheduled to kick off on 29 August at the Riders Ranch in Sidvokodvo.
This year’s edition marks the 32nd anniversary of the Swazi Rally, a major attraction for biking enthusiasts across Southern Africa. The event has become a fixture in Eswatini’s entertainment and tourism calendar, drawing bikers and thrill-seekers from Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Botswana, Mozambique and beyond.
Banele Dlamini from the event’s organising team confirmed that one of the biggest draws for this year will be the live lottery for an ISUZU GSX-S 1000 GX motorcycle, valued at E270,000. The bike will be unveiled during the event, with one lucky ticket holder walking away with the grand prize.
Regan Mordaunt, President of the Kings Brigade, said the rally continues to build unity among bikers while strengthening community bonds through shared passion and culture.
The official launch of the 2025 Swazi Rally was held recently and attended by the Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Jane Mkhonta-Simelane. She launched the event and spoke about its role in supporting the country’s economy and growing the tourism sector.
Last year’s rally ran from 30 August to 1 September and introduced a Cultural Village experience for the first time. Visitors were able to enjoy traditional performances, browse handmade crafts, and sample local cuisine. Music was a major feature, with performances by South African artists DJ Voodoo and Kaygee, alongside Eswatini acts like Dusty and Stones, DJ MBO, DJ Lue, and Dope Deep.
