MBABANE – Instacash today presented a full sponsorship package worth over E150,000 to the two finalist teams of the Eswatini School Sports Association (ESSA) soccer tournament, marking a new partnership with South Africa-based Joma Sportswear.
The presentation, held at the Instacash Service Centre in Mbabane, saw Manzini Central and Evelyn Baring High School receive professional sports gear ahead of their much-anticipated clash. Each school was given 22 full playing kits, 22 tracksuits, 22 training bibs, and a set of soccer balls.
The partnership is set to run for three years and is aimed at boosting the quality and experience of school sports in Eswatini.
Instacash Managing Director Mandla Nxumalo said the collaboration was a deliberate investment into youth sports development. “Our goal is to ensure young athletes get the recognition and resources they deserve. When players feel valued, their confidence grows — and that shows in their performance,” he said.
Joma Sportswear South Africa General Manager, Philani Xaba, described the partnership as a platform to support Eswatini’s young talent while showcasing the quality of their brand. “Seeing school players wear our kits and step onto the field looking the part is something we take pride in,” he said.
The two finalist schools, who will soon face off in the ESSA finals, are now preparing with renewed confidence and energy following the boost in resources. The gear handover was attended by school officials, sports coordinators, ESSA representatives, and local media.
