MBABANE – Joma Sports South Africa has announced a E130 000 sponsorship deal for the upcoming Instacash Schools Soccer Tournament National finals, billed for Friday June 20 at Mavuso Sports Centre, Manzini.
While Evelyn Baring High School will face-off Manzini Central High School, both teams have been sponsored with 20 soccer jerseys, 20 tracksuits, 20 T-shirts, 20 bibs, and 20 boot bags each, the management said.
Joma Sports SA Managing Director, Sipho Mngomezulu, expressed his admiration for the professionalism shown by both the Eswatini School Sports Association (ESSA) and Instacash.
Mngomezulu said the partnership marks a pivotal moment in Joma’s global journey and praised the level of organisation of the tournament which has garnered overwhelming support from schools and the public.
ESSA Treasurer, Lucky Dlamini, acknowledged Joma Sport SA’s contribution, stating that such support will inspire young athletes and strengthen the competitive spirit of the tournament.
He said that the sponsorship adds value not only through equipment provisions but also by motivating players and raising the standard of school sports.
Instacash Managing Director Mandla ‘Cheeks’ Nxumalo highlighted professionalising events-management which in turn attracts sponsors like Joma Sports SA.
Nxumalo said they have gained a meaningful partnership in Joma Sports SA and expressed pride in the tournament’s continued growth.
Joma Sports now joins Instacash, Eswatini TV, and Websters Stationery as official sponsors of the tournament.
