MALKERNS – The countdown to the 2025 Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival is well underway as ticket sales officially move into Phase 2, with organisers offering discounted prices to festivalgoers based in Eswatini.
Set to take place on 1–2 August at House On Fire in Malkerns, this year’s edition runs under the theme A Return to the African Future, celebrating the continent’s cultural expression through food, fashion, music and design.
General tickets for the Luju Gardens are now priced at E750, with Premium Lounge tickets available at E2,250. Children aged 6–12 will be charged E200, while children under five enter for free.
For local residents, discounted ticket rates can be accessed via the Unayo Ticketing Service by messaging “Hi” to 7805 6364 on WhatsApp and following the prompts.
The festival has also opened applications for the second edition of its Fashion Designer Programme, giving local and regional designers a chance to showcase their collections on one of Eswatini’s most glamorous runways. Last year, Ntrentre Couture’s ‘Harakati Collection’ stood out for its bold tribute to African tribal aesthetics, including the Mbalantu women of Namibia.
The Luju Festival is curated by House On Fire and supported by Standard Bank Eswatini. Tickets are valid for both days of the event and can be purchased online at bit.ly/SBLujuFestival2025Tickets.
