Nkhaba – MTN Eswatini’s finance team joined hands with Public Works officials and local residents on Thursday to widen the access road to Mabhawu Primary School.
The corporate volunteers worked alongside government workers and community members to improve safety for schoolchildren and motorists in the rural constituency. The project forms part of MTN’s ongoing corporate social responsibility initiatives.
“Better roads mean safer journeys for our children,” said one parent watching the mixed team level the dirt road surface. The upgraded route will serve hundreds of students who walk daily to the government school.
Ministry of Public Works engineers supervised the work, ensuring proper drainage and road width standards.
