MBABANE – More than 60 poultry farmers from across Hhohho converged at the National Library for a two-day training workshop organised by the Ministry of Agriculture. The training, held in partnership with CFI, ICDF, Feedmaster, and Africa Chicks, focused on improving poultry farming practices in the region.
The sessions, which ran through the week, tackled key issues such as disease prevention, feed management, poultry nutrition, and accessing markets. Industry experts led the sessions, offering live demonstrations and responding to individual concerns raised by the farmers.
Local farmers welcomed the practical nature of the training, describing it as timely in helping them adapt to challenges affecting poultry production in rural and peri-urban areas.
