EZULWINI – Local entrepreneurs producing “Made in Eswatini” goods have been invited to a strategic business seminar organised by MTN Eswatini in partnership with A Peculiar People, as part of this year’s 21 Days of Y’ello Care campaign.
Scheduled for Tuesday, 10 June 2025, at the MTN HQ Auditorium in Ezulwini, the event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and aims to equip participants with digital tools that can boost efficiency, open access to new markets, and drive inclusive growth across the country’s informal and formal trade sectors.
Melusi Zox Dlamini, Chairman of A Peculiar People, said the seminar is a timely intervention for local enterprises navigating the digital economy. He noted that empowering small businesses with connectivity tools could pave the way for broader market access and sustainable trade expansion—both locally and internationally.
The seminar will bring together entrepreneurs, community leaders, and digital innovation experts in a series of interactive sessions and panel discussions. Topics on the agenda include:
- The power of connectivity for inclusive growth
- E-commerce in action via the Made in Eswatini online store
- Promoting social inclusion through entrepreneurship
- Digital tools for scaling domestic and export trade
- Retail innovation as a driver of local market access
Wandile Mtshali, CEO of MTN Eswatini, said the 2025 edition of the Y’ello Care campaign is committed to closing the digital divide by equipping business owners with practical knowledge for surviving and thriving in a technology-first economy.
Attendance to the seminar is free, but pre-registration is required via this online form. With limited seats available, organisers are urging interested entrepreneurs to secure their spots early.
The event is expected to draw participants from various sectors of Eswatini’s local economy, all eager to tap into the growing potential of tech-enabled entrepreneurship.
