Mbabane — Minister of ICT Savannah Maziya has commended MTN Eswatini for its dedication to advancing digital transformation across the country. Speaking through Principal Secretary Phesheya Dube at the launch of the MTN 21 Days of Y’ello Care campaign yesterday, the Minister recognised MTN’s efforts to bring technology closer to communities.

Minister Maziya pointed out that the campaign, themed “Connecting at the roots – Connecting communities through digital tools,” supports the Government in Your Hand (GIYH) mobile app, which allows citizens to access government services conveniently.

She noted that the partnership between the Ministry and MTN has significantly boosted digital access, literacy, and empowerment, making it easier for Eswatini’s people to engage with public services and perform mobile payments without delays.

The Minister said MTN’s work is critical to building a digitally inclusive Eswatini where no citizen is excluded from accessing essential services.
