FNB Eswatini has announced the appointment of Sibusile Dlamini as Chief Marketing Officer, effective 1 May 2025. The appointment comes as the bank celebrates 30 years of service in the Kingdom.
Dlamini steps into the role previously held by Zethu Dlamini, who left the institution at the end of November 2024. She returns with extensive experience in corporate communications, strategic brand building, and media relations. Her career in banking began at FNB Eswatini in 2016, and she most recently served as Head of Brand and Marketing at Standard Bank Eswatini.
“FNB Eswatini is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Sibusile Dlamini as Chief Marketing Officer effective 1 May 2025. Ms. Dlamini replaces Ms. Zethu Dlamini who departed FNB Eswatini at the end of November 2024. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in corporate communications, strategic brand building and media relations, to mention a few, having begun her banking career with FNB Eswatini back in 2016,” reads the official statement.
Chief Executive Officer Thokozani ‘TK’ Dlamini said the bank’s anniversary theme, Sitintile Eswatini, futsi asiyindzawo, was best represented by the inclusion of capable local talent at the executive table.
“There is no better way for us to bring this to life than to give the best of Eswatini’s talent a seat on our Executive Management table and have them play a significant role in contributing to the growth of our business,” he said. “Sibusile represents the very best of that talent and we are absolutely delighted to have her back home and to see the work she will do in leading our Marketing team. Her role is key as we continue to look for new ways to elevate our brand across Africa.”
Reacting to the appointment, Sibusile said she was excited to rejoin the institution, especially during a year of major significance for the brand.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be back and rejoin this amazing team. It’s even more exciting to come back at a time when the brand is celebrating a milestone celebration of 30 years of serving Eswatini. I am keen to make my contribution to how we tell that story and celebrate with our customers and the Nation throughout the year,” she said.
