DURBAN – Members of Eswatini’s royal family paid a visit to the country’s stand on the final day of Africa’s Travel Indaba in Durban, lending weight to the kingdom’s drive to position itself as a competitive tourism destination.

Prince Majaha and Prince Gcina were among the royals who toured the exhibition area, where they met with Acting Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Skhumbuzo Dlamini, and Eswatini Tourism Authority (ETA) CEO Vusie Dlamini. Tourism stakeholders from Eswatini were also in attendance.

The visit took place at one of the continent’s largest tourism marketing events, where Eswatini has been actively promoting its unique cultural experiences, adventure activities, and natural landscapes to potential investors and international travel buyers.

During the engagement, the royal delegation received an overview of the tourism products being showcased by the ETA and private sector participants, who are part of the country’s efforts to grow arrivals and raise Eswatini’s profile in global markets.
