Mthokozisi Khathi, famously known as DJ Tira, has made a name for himself over the years. He co-founded the Afrotainment record label in the early 2000s, which played a significant role in shaping the South African music scene, particularly in the genres of Gqom and Kwaito. DJ Tira has taken the electronic music world by storm, performing at top festivals and clubs around the globe.
But this event isn’t just about the music—it’s a full celebration! A special opening act will feature up-and-coming local talent, including Baba, Slim Deep, Maten, Castle, Sbuda, and Dual Force. These acts were confirmed by Entertainment Manager and resident DJ, Mancoba Dlamini, popularly known as DJ Mawillies.
He emphasized that “this is a night to celebrate workers, friends, and good vibes. It’s designed for everyone to enjoy—not just the ladies—so we encourage everyone to come out in numbers.”
To make the night even more memorable, Mdzimba View will be rolling out exclusive giveaways for the best-dressed ladies. Plus, the first 50 ladies to arrive will each receive a complimentary can of Makoya Bearing Cider.
