AfDB supervises Mkhondvo-Ngwavuma water project in Eswatini

EWADE is hosting a high-level mission from the African Development Bank (AfDB) to review the progress of the Mkhondvo-Ngwavuma Water Augmentation Program (MNWAP) in Eswatini. The mission, led by Dr. Wael Soliman, is focusing on key components of the project, such as the Mpakeni Dam, access roads, irrigation development, and environmental and social safeguards.

The mission is also exploring financing strategies to ensure that farmers can benefit fully from the program’s irrigated agriculture initiatives.
