Mbabane – The Luke Commission (TLC) director Echo Nomsa VanderWal shared some heart-felt goodbyes by the organisation’s staff.
“๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐จ ๐จ๐ค ๐ข๐ช๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฎ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ๐. ๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐ฉ, ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐จ๐๐๐ฃ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐จ๐๐ฉ๐ช๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ. ๐๐ฉ’๐จ ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฎ ๐จ๐๐. ๐ ๐ก๐ค๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐พ ๐ ๐ก๐ค๐ฉ.”
This is a message that was posted by VanderWal on her Facebook account on Thursday.
VanderWal shared that she had had a difficult moment in the morning during the farewell session of staffers.
“Saying goodbye to staff whose contracts cannot be renewed due to financial constraints is ๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ . They are not just colleaguesโthey are ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ. They have poured their hearts into serving ๐๐๐๐ฌ, and now they must leave the place they have called home,” she said.
She said she had no choice but to watch as “more staff exited.”

VanderWal said it was a heavy loss of staff.
She said many of the staff believed that ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง ๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐๐.
“In our lifetime, we never thought we would work with such a ๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐๐ข๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ, ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ฅ๐ฒ-๐ค๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฌ. Their ๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ โค๏ธ, ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ ๐, ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ชโare irreplaceable,” she said, sharing a verse from scripture:
