Sports, Culture, and Youth Affairs Minister, Bongani Nzima, gave his well wishes to the national football team, Sihlangu Semnikati, as they departed for their 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier matches against Cameroon and Mauritius. The games will be held at Mbombela Stadium in South Africa.
At a farewell ceremony held today at the Lobamba Technical Centre, Minister Nzima urged the team to bring home positive results from their upcoming qualifiers. He expressed his belief in the squad’s potential and their ability to secure crucial victories.

In addition to supporting the team, the Minister also announced a gesture aimed at encouraging fan support. Free transport will be provided to supporters who wish to travel to South Africa and cheer on the national team.
To further assist the team, Minister Nzima unveiled a pre-owned Mercedes-Benz Marcopolo bus, which will be used to transport Sihlangu Semnikati throughout the qualifiers.
