DeltaPay is a new, proudly Swazi fintech company dedicated to pushing the boundaries of
innovation in the financial services sector in Eswatini, envisioning a future where transactions are
seamless and inclusive. The company provides digital payment solutions for individuals and
businesses, enabled by blockchain and advanced cryptographic technology, through a mobile
application that allows users to send, request, deposit, and receive money at more affordable rates
than those currently available in the market.Currently operating in a fintech sandbox environment regulated by the Central Bank of Eswatini,DeltaPay is testing and refining its digital payment offerings with the highest standards of security,
usability, and effectiveness for everyone. The sandbox environment enables DeltaPay to
collaborate with regulators, industry partners, and users to pave the way for a seamless
nationwide launch.Chief Financial Officer Adam Hulse says, “Since launching our operations in the sandbox in April
2024, targeting Ezulwini, we have seen growing interest from both individuals and businesses,with the likes of OK Foods Corner Plaza, Galitos Corner Plaza, Elite Catering Suppliers, eMali and InstaCash already onboarded as merchant partners.” He further states, “While we are in the
sandbox environment, we are in discussions with established players like banks and mobile
money service providers, as well as new businesses in need of digital payment solutions, to
ensure that we collectively drive financial inclusion for emaSwati.”
Operations Manager Nolwazi Sukati adds, “Our focus is on creating an efficient and scalable
operational framework that allows us to serve a growing number of users while maintaining
top-notch customer satisfaction during the sandbox phase and beyond.” She continues, “We
are committed to ensuring that every customer interaction with DeltaPay is smooth, secure, and
hassle-free.”
