Ezulwini- Eswatini Revenue Service( ERS) is launching Tax Ease portal. The portal which is a Client Self Service will make it easy for clients to comply with tax matters by simplifying tax filling and payment. It will also offer a convenient and seamless operation. The system will go live from March 4, 2024. The Oracle based application contains cutting edge capabilities. It is highly configurable, able to integrate with other systems and has improved data security for clients. The portal also offer simplified payment referencing ( TIN, TAXTYPE), more tax types filled online and offer auto generated certificates containing QR codes. The system which is still to be upgraded further was developed by Cebolenkhosi Mahlalela. The Tax Ease portal also contains integrated payments,auto population of returns, online filling of levies and monthly payroll upload to count a few. To access the portal,a personal email address is essential. This is because the email address will be used as the client’s user name.
