Mbabane: The capital city giants Mbabane Highlanders striker Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa recent head injury is not as serious as many people were thinking.
This revelation was made by highlanders head coach Dumisani ‘DU’ Makhanya after the team’s MTN Premier League match against Tabankulu Callies at the King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium on Sunday, where Mbabane Highlanders defeated Callies by 2-1.
Ndzinisa was a missing part from the squad that beat Callies on Sunday after picking the injury the previous week during their game against Royal Leopard’s where he collided with Leopard strike Mzwandile Mabelesa.
In 2017 Ndzinisa suffered a head injury while he was playing for Mbabane Swallows in a game against Mbabane Highlanders at Somhlolo National Stadium which then required surgery.
The Mbabane Highlanders coach assured the nation and the Highlanders family that Ndzinisa will be back in action soon and he also said the striker was doing well and the tests have shown that he has no internal injuries. Ndzinisa is currently the team’s top scorer after accumulating 12 goals in the current season.
