Mbabane: Eswatini Football Association (EFA) will on Sunday March 28, 2021 host an elite league referee’s physical fitness test at Mavuso Sports Centre.
The main objectives of the exercise is to assess the physical fitness level of the referees in the country in readiness of the football resumption in the country as per the the requirement of the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).
The exercise will also prepare the man in black for the resumption of footballing the country after government through the acting Prime Minister Themba Nhlanganiso Masuku lifted the ban last week on top football in the country.
The referees last officiated a match in December 2020 due second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. The event will be facilitated by EFA and refereeing instructors. This is part of the EFA program of the return of football in the country after it was haltered due to the outbreak of the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
