Matsapha – The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) presented His Majesty King Mswati III with three cattle and Her Majesty Indlovukazi with two cattle, while also donating E70 000 to the Philani Maswati Charity Organisation during the 23rd Annual Police Day celebrations.
The donations were disclosed by Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini during the ceremony held at the Matsapha Police Academy, where police officers gathered alongside government officials, traditional leaders and other dignitaries.
The Prime Minister said the gifts formed part of the police service’s contribution during the celebrations, which were held in the presence of Their Majesties.
The E70 000 donation to Philani Maswati Charity Organisation was presented as part of REPS’ contribution towards supporting the work carried out by the organisation.
The celebrations also featured a parade by different units of REPS, including a march past and drill display, as the service showcased its discipline, skills and preparedness.
The event was held under the theme, “Policing with Agape Love,” as the police service celebrated 119 years of service to the Kingdom.
