MBABANE – Eswatini-born singer-songwriter Sarnilo has unveiled her second single of the year, Sekuphelile, a deeply emotional Afrosoul and neo-soul ballad that explores the pain of letting go and the hope that follows new beginnings.
Set for release on all major streaming platforms on Friday, 31 July 2026, Sekuphelile, which translates to “it is done” in siSwati, captures the emotional journey of accepting the end of a relationship. Rather than dwelling on heartbreak, the song embraces healing, growth, and the quiet strength required to move forward.
The single was composed by South African Music Award (SAMA)-winning producer Yazeed Salie (Salie Sousa) in collaboration with acclaimed guitarist and composer Sihlangu Sibiya. Together, they have crafted a rich soundscape that blends warm jazz-inspired harmonies, soulful melodies, and delicate electric guitar passages, creating a reflective atmosphere that evokes memories of love’s most cherished moments.
