Mbabane – A 26-year-old Eluhlendlweni man, Muzi Dlamini, has landed in court after he was accused of stabbing two people and committing a sexual offence against a 46-year-old woman in an incident that allegedly took place at Eluhlendlweni in the Hhohho Region.
Dlamini was remanded in custody until August 14, 2026, pending committal of the matter to the High Court, where he is expected to face two counts of attempted murder and a charge under the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Act No.15 of 2018.
According to the charge sheet, the alleged incident occurred on May 30, 2026, at Eluhlendlweni area in the Hhohho Region.
The State alleges that Dlamini attempted to kill Thando Honkwane by stabbing him once on the left side of his neck with a sharp object.
It is further alleged that he attacked Gugu Mtsetfwa, stabbing her twice with a sharp object once on the back of her neck and once on her right upper eye.
The charge sheet also alleges that during the same incident, Dlamini had unlawful sexual acts with Gugu Precious Mtsetfwa (46) several times without using a condom.
The State has cited aggravating factors in terms of Section 185bis of the Criminal Procedure and Evidence Act of 1938, alleging that the complainant was exposed to the risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections, including HIV and AIDS, due to the alleged failure to use a condom.
