MBABANE- House music enthusiasts are in for an unforgettable experience as celebrated South African DJ and producer Dustinho headlines the latest edition of Rhythm & Groove at the iconic 23:28 Lounge, promising an electrifying night of soulful house music, exceptional performances and vibrant nightlife.
Presented by NewLife Entertainment, the highly anticipated event is expected to draw music lovers from across Eswatini and neighbouring South Africa for an evening that celebrates deep house culture while showcasing some of the region’s finest talent.
Leading the night’s entertainment is Dustinho, one of South Africa’s most respected deep house artists, whose soulful productions and captivating live performances have earned him a loyal following across Southern Africa. He will be joined by an impressive line-up of Eswatini’s top selectors, including DJ Cup, Mixmash, Fantacy, DJ Cybos, Keisy and Slotta, creating a perfect blend of international star power and local excellence.
Organisers have also announced a special early bird cover charge of E100 before 8pm, encouraging patrons to arrive early and enjoy the full Rhythm & Groove experience from start to finish.
Born Tshepang Ntsala, Dustinho has carved out a remarkable career in the deep house scene. A self-taught DJ who began performing at just 14 years old, he quickly caught the attention of South African house music pioneer Vinny Da Vinci, who introduced his remixes to wider audiences by featuring them in his acclaimed DJ sets.
Over the years, Dustinho has established himself as both a producer and songwriter, releasing acclaimed projects including For The Time Being EP, Once Every Blue Moon and Keep It Healthy. His collaborations with renowned artists such as Chymamusique, Tebza De SouL and Brian Temba have further cemented his reputation as one of the genre’s leading talents. Despite his growing popularity, the artist has remained focused on letting his music speak for itself, maintaining a private personal life while consistently delivering quality productions.
The upcoming edition of Rhythm & Groove continues the impressive growth of a brand that has become synonymous with premium deep house entertainment in Mbabane. The event has steadily built a reputation for bringing together celebrated South African acts and Eswatini’s finest DJs, creating memorable nightlife experiences for house music fans.
Its previous edition, held at 23:28 Lounge in January 2025, featured South African headliner ZuluMafia, alongside local favourites DJ Cup, Fantacy, Slotta, Kingheart, Imk@RekorderDeejai and DJ Wicked. That successful event not only united artists from both countries but also marked the official launch of the venue’s entertainment calendar for the year.
Since then, 23:28 Lounge has continued to strengthen its reputation as one of Eswatini’s premier nightlife destinations. The venue has hosted several successful events, including Play for the City, which featured South African DJs DK Tibza, DJ MBO and special guest Selby, as well as the well-attended Prime Time Party, celebrating DJ Cup’s birthday and EP launch with South African producer D.General as the headline act.
Building on that momentum, NewLife Entertainment believes the return of Rhythm & Groove with Dustinho at the helm will elevate the event to even greater heights while further cementing its place on Eswatini’s entertainment calendar.
By combining internationally acclaimed talent with the Kingdom’s leading DJs, this year’s edition promises more than just a night out, it offers a celebration of deep house music, cross-border collaboration and the continued growth of Eswatini’s vibrant nightlife scene.
For lovers of soulful rhythms, infectious grooves and premium entertainment, all roads this July lead to 23:28 Lounge, where Dustinho is expected to deliver a headline performance worthy of the Rhythm & Groove legacy.
