EZULWINI— Eswatini’s fast-rising Afro-pop and African trap artist Stella Jacobs, popularly known as Inkabikazi, is celebrating another major career milestone after South African music star Sjava once again recognized her music by featuring her song “Bayethe” in his official Instagram video confirming his upcoming performance in Eswatini.
The confirmation video promotes Sjava Ka Jama Live in Eswatini, scheduled to take place at Mdzimba View Shisanyama on 31 July 2026, with the soundtrack featuring “Bayethe,” a collaboration between Stella Jacobs and Makwakwa. The song was produced by Hlanti-Mayne, while the music video was directed by Shaka Makhanya.
This marks the second time Sjava has publicly shown appreciation for Inkabikazi’s music. In 2024, he used her song “Inkabikazi” in one of his social media posts, and now, two years later, he has once again selected her music, this time “Bayethe”, to accompany the announcement of his highly anticipated Eswatini performance.
Speaking about the recognition, Stella Jacobs described the moment as both humbling and inspiring.
“I am truly honoured and grateful that Sjava chose to use my song as the background soundtrack for his Instagram announcement confirming his upcoming performance in Eswatini on 31 July. This was his second time using my song. In 2024 he used Inkabikazi, and this year, in 2026, he used Bayethe.”
She said such moments serve as a reminder that music has no boundaries and can create meaningful connections beyond borders.
“As an artist, moments like these are incredibly meaningful because they show that music can travel, connect people and be appreciated by artists you admire. It came as a beautiful surprise, and I sincerely appreciate the recognition.”
The singer believes the acknowledgement extends beyond her personal success and reflects the growing influence of Eswatini’s music industry across the region.
“I see this as more than just a personal milestone, it is also a proud moment for Eswatini’s music industry. It reminds us that our music has the power to reach wider audiences and stand alongside some of the best on the continent.”
Adding to the excitement, Stella Jacobs has also been confirmed as one of the performers at Sjava Ka Jama Live in Eswatini, where she will share the stage with the award-winning artist she has long admired.
“I look forward to sharing the stage with Sjava on 31 July and giving my supporters a memorable performance. He has always been my number one favourite artist. He’s my role model, so this really means a lot.”
She also called on her supporters to attend the concert, promising a performance they will not forget.
“To my fans, please come and watch my performance on the 31st. I have a special performance prepared for you.”
Stella concluded by expressing gratitude to everyone who has supported her musical journey.
“I would also like to thank everyone who has supported my journey. Your encouragement continues to motivate me to work even harder and represent Eswatini with pride.”
As anticipation builds for Sjava Ka Jama Live in Eswatini, Sjava’s continued recognition of Inkabikazi’s music highlights the growing visibility of Eswatini’s artists on the regional stage and reinforces the country’s rising influence within Southern Africa’s music landscape.
