MANZINI – Fast-rising Eswatini Afro-fusion and hip-hop artist MCO Jamrock is set to headline IF’s Lounge Restaurant & Bar’s Karaoke Night on Wednesday, 1 July 2026, promising an exciting evening of music and entertainment.
Born Mxolisi Nkambule, MCO Jamrock has become one of Eswatini’s most talked-about young artists following a breakthrough year in 2026. Renowned for his high-energy stage presence and versatility, the artist effortlessly blends Afro-fusion, hip-hop, drill, and Amapiano, earning a reputation as one of the country’s brightest emerging stars.
His rise to prominence began after securing a Top 3 finish in the MTN Bushfire Firefly 2026 competition during the Grand Finale at House on Fire. The achievement earned him a coveted performance slot at the MTN Bushfire Festival 2026, where he headlined the Corona Firefly Stage and impressed audiences with an electrifying performance.
MCO Jamrock further cemented his growing status during the MoMo Xperience 2026, where his critically acclaimed, high-octane set drew widespread praise from fans and industry stakeholders alike. He also gained viral attention after transforming a comedic freestyle into a hard-hitting drill anthem, showcasing both his creativity and lyrical ability. The artist writes all of his music under his legal name, Mxolisi Christian Nkambule.
At IF’s Lounge, MCO Jamrock will lead an evening of karaoke alongside resident DJs, while MC Thando will keep the crowd entertained throughout the night. The event starts at 6pm and runs until late at IF’s Lounge in Moneni, Manzini. Entrance is E30 after 9pm, with VIP reservations available.
