Mbabane – The Eswatini Water Services Corporation (EWSC) has warned residents of Mbabane that water supply interruptions are affecting several areas following unplanned maintenance work.
The disruption has impacted customers in the CBD, Mountain Inn, Industrial Site, Eveni, Msunduza, Corporation, Mahhwalala, Manyisa, Fonteyn, Dalriach, and surrounding neighborhoods. EWSC said the maintenance caused low reservoir levels, which in turn affected water distribution.
To mitigate the shortage, stationary water tanks have been deployed at Mbabane Market, Coronation Park, New Dawn, Singapore, Solanis, and the Corporation traffic circle.
EWSC confirmed that maintenance work has now been completed and anticipates that reservoir levels will be fully restored by Monday, 9 February 2026. The Corporation apologized for any inconvenience caused during the service disruption.
