Mbabane – The Eswatini National Commission for UNESCO has expressed gratitude to the Eswatini Environment Authority (EEA) and its leader, Mr. Musa Maseko, for their significant role in advancing the Green Schools Initiative. This initiative aims to transform schools into self-sustaining centres that foster environmental awareness and practical skills development among students.
Through their partnership, the EEA has provided essential seed packages, which are expected to boost the efforts of schools across the country in implementing green practices. The seed packages are a key resource in supporting schools as they create a culture of sustainability, encouraging resilience and environmental stewardship.
The Eswatini National Commission for UNESCO emphasized the importance of continuous innovation and collaboration in achieving the goal of making schools hubs of environmental learning and skill-building.
