Mbabane: Minister of Health Lizzie Nkosi has announced that the total number of confirmed cases has increased to 1389 as 38 new cases reported on Monday.
In the daily reports, the Minister said the ministry of health received 409 results, of which the 38 tested positive and 371 tested negative.
The report revealed that the newly confirmed cases are from Manzini and Hhohho regions as 27 came fro. Manzini and 11 from Hhohho region
Manzini remains the epicenter of the pandemic in the country as 731 cases come from Manzini region, followed by Hhohho region with 425 cases. Shiselweni region now stands third with 123 cases whereas Lubombo has recorded 110.
On another Nkosi announced that the number of recoveries has also I creased to 688 as 38 patients were cleared of COVID-19 on this date.
