Cheongju, Republic of Korea – The Kingdom of Eswatini was represented at the 11th World Peace Summit hosted by Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) on 18 September 2025, where more than 800 leaders from across the globe gathered to discuss education, law and peacebuilding.

The annual summit, held in Cheongju, placed focus on how governments, civil society and international bodies can strengthen cooperation to prevent conflict. A key achievement announced was the growing support for HWPL’s Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW), with the Latin American and Caribbean Parliament (PARLATINO) and 16 other institutions adopting resolutions in favour of the framework.

HWPL chairperson Lee Man Hee told delegates that conflict only breeds suffering and urged nations to leave a legacy of peace for future generations. He stressed that building peace required collective commitment and actions rooted in goodness.
