Ezulwini – The United States Embassy in Ezulwini has reported that Chargé d’Affaires Marc Weinstock met with the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade, Manqoba Khumalo, on Wednesday. The talks, which also involved Principal Secretary Melusi Masuku and officials from the US Embassy’s commercial section, focused on expanding economic cooperation.
Discussions centred on boosting investment, supporting exports, and creating employment opportunities that benefit both Eswatini and the United States. Minister Khumalo said the kingdom remains open to American companies, describing Eswatini as an attractive destination for doing business.
He further announced that Eswatini will host an Investment Conference in New York on 25 September 2025, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. The event is expected to serve as a platform to showcase opportunities in the country and deepen partnerships with US firms.
Weinstock described the meeting as productive, noting that collaboration between the two nations can help drive investment and strengthen commercial ties.
