Piggs Peak – Mshinande Arsenal F.C. were crowned champions of the Build It Piggs Peak Under-13 Tournament after a commanding performance at the Killarney Sports Ground on Saturday, 9 August 2025.
The sixth leg of the 2025 football development programme, hosted by Build It Piggs Peak, drew young footballers from across the region. From the group stages, Mshinande Arsenal showed their dominance, conceding just two goals the entire day while producing free-flowing attacks. Their biggest win came in an 11–0 rout of Tinyosi F.C. in the second group match.
They booked their spot in the final after defeating Zibonele F.C. 4–1 in the semi-finals. Against Maguga F.C. in the title decider, Arsenal struck three times in the first half and controlled the second to seal a 3–0 victory.
The team’s success was built on teamwork rather than individual goal tallies, with no player taking the Top Goal Scorer award. However, they swept most of the honours: Player of the Tournament went to Aphelele Mhlambi, Best Midfielder to Falakhe Dlamini, and Best Defender to Lwazi Dlamini.
EFA Technical Director Bhekisisa Mkhonta also introduced a new Most Exciting Player award, given to Mali Msimango for his creativity and skill. The Best Goalkeeper award went to Wiseman Matsebula of Piggs Peak Black Swallows F.C., whose saves kept his team competitive.
