SIDVOKODVO – Fans attending this year’s Swazi Rally will experience a new adrenaline rush as Jungle Rush FMX joins the entertainment lineup for the annual three-day biking festival.
The rally is scheduled for August 29 to 31 at Riders Ranch, drawing bikers and thrill-seekers from across Eswatini and neighbouring countries. Organisers have introduced a freestyle motocross (FMX) exhibition featuring Jungle Rush FMX, a South African stunt team known for their daring acrobatics on motorbikes.
Banele Dlamini, spokesperson for Swazi Rally, confirmed the FMX shows will run throughout the festival. He said the stunt crew, led by founders Lyle and Dallan Goldman, will perform gravity-defying jumps and tricks in specially designed arenas to ensure maximum safety for spectators.
Jungle Rush FMX has been performing professionally since 2008 and boasts a strong track record at major motorsport events across South Africa and internationally. Their visit marks the first time a world-class FMX act will perform at Swazi Rally.
Dlamini said this year’s edition is part of an effort to expand the rally’s appeal by introducing new attractions. He added that organisers want to blend the core elements of biking culture with extreme sports and live entertainment to create a more dynamic experience.
Thousands of bikers are expected to converge at Sidvokodvo for the rally, which has grown into one of Eswatini’s biggest tourism events. Tickets are on sale at E300, with early bird specials available for advance purchases.
