LUDZELUDZE – The Instacash-sponsored KASI 2 KASI tournament came to a close yesterday, July 6, where Kwaluseni hammered Mbabane with a 3-1 victory to be crowned the 2025 KASI 2 KASI Champions at the dusty Ludzeludze Sports Ground.
The finals were nothing short of excitement, intriguing moments, flair and dribbles. All teams were sweating it out in the dust keep the hundreds of spectators on their feet from the blow of the kick-off whistle to the blow of the final whistle.
The newly crowned champions were the most convincing side in this year’s tournament having walloped Luve 5-2 in the semi-finals played in the same venue, Ludzeludze Sports Ground, ahead of the finals. In the semi-finals Mbabane managed to put 2 goals past Mafutseni marching into yesterday’s finals.
Defending champions Ludzeludze could not believe what befell them when they were outclassed by Luve in the quarter-finals by 4-2 at the fully packed Msunduza Ground depriving them a chance to defend the championship.
Royal Leopards’ Fanelo and Lungelo were a marvel to watch during this year’s tournament where they brought the ‘kasi’ flavour to the playing venues complemented with goals which they were banging just for fun.
Another baller that was exciting to watch in the finals was Mbabane Highlanders’ Wandile Ntshakala who got the crowd wild with his magic feet.
