MVUTJINI – Local hip-hop favourite Young Zesh has premiered the official music video for his breakout single Senibeketele, following strong public anticipation across digital platforms.
The video was released on Friday, July 4, through his independent label Mabona Bulawe Records. Born Mzwandile Comfort Ginindza, the artist has been gaining momentum since the audio version dropped last month. The track has already amassed over 19,000 views on YouTube, 5,000 streams on Spotify and 2,000 on Apple Music, a notable milestone for the budding Eswatini talent.
The visual production of Senibeketele was spearheaded by directors Siphosethu Sibandze and Tinashe Naishe, with a script co-written by the artist himself alongside Sibandze. The video was shot and edited by Naishe, while the beat was produced by Dj Citie.
Filmed in parts of Manzini, the video mirrors the raw emotion behind the lyrics, which Young Zesh describes as a thank-you letter to his supporters who’ve stuck with him from the beginning. He said the song was inspired by the messages, reposts and continuous support he has received, particularly during difficult periods.
