Mbabane – Small business owners in Mbabane are now benefiting from direct access to tax education and registration services as the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) rolls out the latest leg of its Bafundzise Campaign in the capital.

The campaign kicked off on Monday, 2 June 2025, at Corporate Place in the city centre, marking a new chapter in ERS’s efforts to make tax and customs knowledge more accessible to the public.

ERS officials, stationed on-site, are offering tailored support to small businesses, including on-the-spot Tax Identification Number (TIN) registration and guidance on compliance. The initiative is designed to improve understanding of tax obligations and reduce barriers for emerging enterprises.

To reassure the public, ERS reminded residents to look out for clearly identified officials wearing branded apparel and carrying official identification cards. Any suspected fraud or unethical conduct related to the campaign should be reported to the ERS Internal Affairs unit via their toll-free number, 800 8000.
