Eswatini’s most stylish weekend of the year is back on the cultural calendar, as the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival prepares to take over House On Fire from 1–2 August 2025 with its signature blend of food, fashion, music, and celebration of African identity.
Organisers confirmed this week that tickets are officially on sale for the seventh edition of the family-friendly festival. With the theme “A Return to the African Future”, the event promises a bold mix of afro-futuristic elegance, culinary artistry, vintage fashion, and live entertainment.
Simon Dawson, the Communications Officer at House On Fire, revealed that tickets can be bought online at www.lujufestival.com or through the Unayo App and its WhatsApp Ticketing Service—currently accessible only in Eswatini. Local festivalgoers can also look forward to discounted Luju Garden passes on the ‘Luju Tickets with UNAYO’ platform, specifically made available to Emaswati.

“This year’s programme will feature celebrity chefs, high-end fashion designers, and a strong representation of African creativity,” Dawson said. “It is a tribute to the continent’s elegance—drawing from the past and projecting into the future, celebrating our heritage through bold design and flavour.”
Held annually at the scenic Malkerns venue, the Luju Festival has grown into one of the region’s premier lifestyle events. Known for its vibrant showcase of Southern African culture, the event draws thousands of locals and tourists for two days of fine dining, premium wines and whiskeys, music, and fashion exhibitions.
Organisers are also inviting local chefs, designers, creatives, and artisans to participate in this year’s festivities. Application forms for food vendors, fashion stalls, lifestyle traders, and the popular children’s Beehive environment will be made available soon on the festival website.
Tickets for all categories—including children’s passes and premium lounges—are available in three phases, with early bird options already sold out. Children under five enter free.
