Mbabane: The Minister of Tinkhundla Administration and Development, David ‘Cruiser’ Ngcamphalala has today handed over a 4-tonne truck worth over E928 000 to Sicaca investments from Mkhiweni Inkhundla in the Manzini Region.

The truck has been funded through the Regional Development Fund. Sicaca Investment is a community business comprising 21 emaSwati who plan to lease out the truck and take advantage of the sugarcane industry. The community contributed about E112 000 towards the project, both in cash and in-kind.

Making his remarks at the event, minister Ngcamphalala said, “His Majesty’s Government has always looked up to the Regional Development Fund as an appropriate vehicle with which to improve the lives of the people at the grassroots level.”
