Mbabane-The first four winners of the Eswatini Bank’s “Nawe Unga Wina” Transactor Account Campaign were unveiled at the Eswatini Banks Auditorium on Wednesday

The campaign which is a festive season promotion was launched in October 2021 and is centred on transactor accounts, which include an ordinary savings account and much more. These transactor accounts open the doors to several benefits and services available at Eswatini Bank.

In order to participate in the competition, customers at the bank need only to participate in cashless transactions whereby digital banking platforms are used to access  a wide range of services and also using a debit card to swipe or tap for on-line purchasing.

Speaking at the unveiling the Managing Director of Eswatini Bank, Nozizwe Mulela said “the emergence of the coronavirus pandemic, to a significant extent disrupted the way money is transferred and how payments are made. One would say, digital payments have gone from being ‘often used’ to ‘standard practice’, as it’s a much safer, convenient and faster way of banking. That is why amongst other reasons, at Eswatini Bank; we continue to seek ways of creating this convenience by deploying systems that will enable us to bring more exciting, faster and secure digital banking services. Furthermore, the bank is crafting a digital transformation strategy that will further enhance our customer experience. “

The increase in the cases of fraudulent activities as the festive season draws nearer was also alluded to “criminals are constantly looking for ways to make money at your expense. So as we transact, either with our debit cards or through digital banking, let us ensure we keep our personal information safe and secure.” said Mulela.
