Mbabane: Minister of Information, Communications and Technology Princess Sikhanyiso is back at work as of yesterday.

The return of the Minister was confirmed by the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of ICT Maxwell Masuku.

Masuku told the Times of Eswatini that more information on the minister’s return would be communicated in due course. He stated that had actually started visiting her office since the previous week.

This comes shortly after the outspoken Hosea Member of Parliament Mduduzi Bacede Mabuza had questioned the Minister’s absence. Mabuza raised this concern during the sitting of the portfolio committee for the Ministry of ICT’s annual performance report.

The minister went to leave in January 2020 and Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo was delegated to act on his behalf.
