MBABANE – Eswatini’s popular comedy and content-creation duo, Gogo Eswatini and S’lwane, are taking their brand to the next level with the launch of their official website, marking a new chapter in their growing entertainment business.
The duo announced the launch of www.gogoandslwane.com during the Eswatini International Trade Fair last Thursday, introducing an interactive, AI-enabled platform designed to complement their strong social media presence.
The website is expected to give fans access to exclusive content, previous comedy shows and livestreams, allowing their followers, including those in the diaspora, to experience their shows remotely in high definition.
Beyond entertainment, the platform is also designed to strengthen the business side of the Gogo and S’lwane brand.
Fans will be able to purchase tickets and merchandise, while clients will have access to a digital booking platform that allows them to book the duo without having to make a phone call or send an email.
The subscription-based platform will also feature two audio podcast-style programmes hosted by the duo.
Gogo will host “Siswati Sami: Bungimi Bami, Ligcabho,” a programme centred on the Siswati language, Swati traditions and cultural education.
Meanwhile, S’lwane will host “Tea-Talk with S’lwane,” a lifestyle-focused programme exploring the childhood experiences of selected guests, ranging from corporate executives to personalities in Eswatini’s entertainment industry.
S’lwane said the website was part of the duo’s decision to evolve with the rapidly changing digital landscape.
“As the world advances quicker than anything we have ever witnessed, we felt it best to evolve along through this carefully designed website,” he said.
He explained that the platform was created to give their audience a closer connection to their work while complementing, rather than replacing, their social media platforms.
Gogo said the website was also important in helping the duo take greater ownership of their brand and its narrative.
He said the platform would give them more control across their value chain while positioning the brand ahead of the changing social media environment.
The duo has built a strong following through comedy and digital content over the years, with their shows attracting audiences both locally and beyond Eswatini.
The duo has invited their fans to explore the website and experience what they describe as a new digital home for the Gogo and S’lwane brand.
