KANDEVA – Speaker of the House of Assembly and Pigg’s Peak Member of Parliament, Jabulani “Buy Cash” Mabuza, has expressed his appreciation to the Microprojects Programme and Engineers in Action (EIA) for delivering the E1.4 million Tintfutfwini Suspended Footbridge.
Mabuza said the 92-metre bridge over the Nkomanzi River is a transformative project that will improve safe access between the Pigg’s Peak and Nkhaba constituencies. He noted that the bridge will benefit residents of Hlalakahle and kaNdeva, while providing a safe crossing for more than 75 learners from Luhhumaneni Primary School, who previously faced dangerous river crossings.
